The Township of Madawaska Valley has finalized its Canada Day parade closures.
Floats will be prepped for 11:00am on July 1st along Kelly Street.
The municipality says the parade will be making its way down Paugh Lake Road to Opeongo Line at 11:30am.
The parade route will take floats through Opeongo Square, along Stafford Street and end at Lakeshore Drive.
Council debated the route heavily, taking into consideration the impact an extended closure along the highway would have on the traffic artery.
