Canadian Armed Forces Conducting Exercises in Renfrew County

The Canadian Armed Forces says to expect a larger military presence in Renfrew County as a number of exercises are underway this week.

The operations will involve blank ammunition, some pyrotechnics, paintballs and helicopter flights.

CFB Petawawa says the training exercises began yesterday and are set to end on June 20th.

Bonnechere Valley residents shouldn’t be alarmed by increased activity in the township as there will be exercises in the area tomorrow and Thursday.
