The Ministry of Municipal Affairs has added Arnprior, Petawawa and Greater Madawaska to the list of communities eligible for flood relief.
The province’s Disaster Recovery Assistance Program remains active for Renfrew County with the deadline to apply set at September 11th.
Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski says to apply sooner rather than later, since the ministry moves on a first-come, first-serve basis on applications.
He says make sure you keep accurate records of spending, flood damage and clean up to ensure you get as much help as possible.
