The Golden Lake and Area Community Group says open house events are coming up for residents who are looking to access the Red Cross’ Flood Assistance Program.
The Red Cross has made a multi-million dollar fund available to victims of flooding in eastern Ontario with $600 slated to go to any household affected.
Representatives from the program will be on hand to validate claims, meeting with residents and will provide flood cleanup and hygiene kits to anyone who needs them.
The public meetings are set for June 3rd and June 10th at the Golden Lake Community Centre from 9:00am until 3:00pm.
