The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says it handed out over 50 charges during its enforcement blitz last week.
Conservation officers from the Bancroft area also took part in the blitz which was carried out in most of Hastings County.
Charges included anglers being over limits, violating a fish sanctuary and fishing without a license.
In total, the MNRF says it checked just shy of 300 anglers for compliance.
