The OPP have launched an investigation following the discovery of human remains in Head, Clara and Maria township.
North Bay OPP responded to a call about suspected human remains on Sunday on North River Road.

The deceased was identified as 26-year-old Hakeem Muhikira of Ottawa.
The OPP said the preliminary information suggests there is no broader threat, but residents may see an increased police presence in the area as they continue investigating.
The investigation involves the North Bay OPP Crime Unit, the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
