Killaloe OPP asking for help in mischief, crash investigations

Killaloe OPP is asking for the public’s help in an investigation into a collision that damaged hydro poles and phone lines.  

The crash happened at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 9 on Highway 60, near Old Barry’s Bay Road. Police say a red or maroon log truck failed to remain at the scene.  

Police would like to speak to the driver of the truck. 

Mischief happening in valleys 

Killaloe OPP is asking for the public’s help in two separate mischief investigations.

Police were called to a property on Lakeshore Drive in Madawaska Valley on Monday, June 5. Someone had damaged restrooms and septic lids.  

Also, police were called to a property on Cedar Beach Lane in Bonnechere Valley on Thursday, June 8. Rocks by the waterfront had been spray painted.  

Anyone with information that can help any of these investigations is asked to call Killaloe OPP at 613-757-2600 or Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 1-800-222-TIPS. You could receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
