The big prize in the Catch the Ace has finally been won.
Eve Barnes of Ottawa won the weekly prize in the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation lottery and flipped over a card to find the ace of spades. With the weekly prize and jackpot, she won just over $70,000.
The money will be presented to her next week. The lottery program has been awarding weekly prizes since the fall.
The proceeds from tickets have allowed the Foundation to raise money for St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Valley Manor and Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care.
