Laurentian Valley has launched a new logo that is meant to recognize the past and present as the municipality moves forward.
According to a news release by the township, the blue and gold in the logo represents the sun and water.
The graphics in the lettering also pay homage to the three original townships of Alice and Fraser, Pembroke and Stafford.
The municipality will begin swapping out the old logo for the new one as the opportunities present themselves.
To start, the new public works garage will be one of the first to carry the updated logo.
