Renfrew Youth Council On Hold

The Renfrew councillor that was trying to set up a youth council is now investigating the lack of interest in the position.
Councillor Tom Sidney only received four interested applicants for the job, one shy of what he needed to move forward with the initiative.
Instead he has proposed a youth taskforce to look into why young people are not interested in being involved in the community.
The four who volunteered to be on the council will fill out the task force.
