Madawaska Valley Fire Department has declared the spring Freshet is over.
A combination of early thaws, light rain and drawn-down lakes means there will be no extra flooding this season.
In addition, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry water safety bulletin will expire on April 8th, and will not be renewed.
