The search for a missing kayaker has ended with a body being found by OPP
Joseph Palluq left his cottage on Buelow road on May 1st and family members contacted police the next day when he did not return home. The OPP Marine unit, OPP Helicopter and OPP emergency response team assisted Killaloe OPP with a search of Lake Clear, where they found an overturned kayak. Yesterday they found a body in close proximity to where the kayak was discovered.
The body has been identified as that of Joseph Palluq. Police determined a personal flotation device was not used. A post mortem has been scheduled.
