The Judges for Communities in Bloom are ready to tour the Madawaska Valley.

A number of tours have been planned for the area for the judges to see the community. Places visited in the community include Our Lady Seat of Wisdom, the Railway Station in Barry’s Bay and the Wilno Heritage Park. The judges will visit a variety of restaurants and tour areas that show the health of the community. They will mark the community on a number of categories, including tidiness, heritage conservation, landscaping and floral displays.

The Madawaska Valley is hoping to retain its 5 bloom status in earned last year. In years past the CiB judges have been impressed with the community’s dedication to its heritage, most notably Wilno Park. The floral arrangements of the community were also rated high.

The Judges will be here until Saturday.
