MNRF Warns of Watershed Conditions

Make sure your house doesn’t become a swimming pool.

That’s because the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) – Pembroke District say that homeowners should be looking out for watershed conditions. This is especially important if you live near a river or a fast moving stream they say.

With increased temperatures coming and last weekends snowfall, they say that elevated water levels will need to be watched. They add that this could cause flooding for certain homeowners in Renfrew County.
