A 62-year-old woman is charged after a deadly car crash.

The Renfrew OPP say the crash happened on October 27, 2017, when a single vehicle struck a rock on Calabogie Road, south of the Village of Burnstown. Two teens were killed and two more injured.

Reports say that all four males, aged 18 at the time, were hockey players for the Renfrew Timberwolves that had been under the influence of alcohol. The driver, Brandon Thomas Hanniman of Admaston Bromley Township was pronounced dead at the scene. Another, Alex Paquette of Renfrew, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Reports also say that three of the four were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

As a result of the collision, the OPP has now concluded the investigation and charged 62-year-old, Ann Senack, of Greater Madawaska Township with two counts of causing death by criminal negligence and two counts of criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

The woman was released on a promise to appear in court on May 1st.
