If you’re planning on pulling an all-nighter on Saturday, get your candles ready.
There will be a planned power outage by Hydro One that will affect most of the Madawaska Valley.
According to Hydro One, 14,015 customers will be affected during the outage. Customers will see their power turned off starting at 3:00 AM on Sunday morning which should be turned back on by 6:00AM of the same day. The planned outage is due to the installment of new equipment.
The affected areas include:
• Ashby Township
• Burns Township
• Canisbay
• Carlow/Mayo Township
• Dickens Township
• Dudley Township
• Hastings Highlands (Bangor, Wicklow and McClure, Herschel, Monteagle)
• Highlands East
• Limerick Township
• Municipality of Faraday
• South Algonquin (Airy, Dickens, Lyell Murchison and Sabine)
• Town of Bancroft
• Township of Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan
• Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards
Hydro One says that all customers that will be affected have been notified.
