Police are still asking the public for information that can help in separate homicide investigations, following deaths in the Town of Renfrew and Pembroke on the weekend.

No arrests have been made in either case yet.

A statement from Upper Ottawa Valley OPP says, “while we cannot speculate on any potential connections, the team investigating the Pembroke double homicide is in communication with the team investigating the Renfrew homicide.”

Police in the Town of Renfrew were called to Vimy Boulevard on Friday and arrived to find 41-year-old Jonathan Logan dead of gunshot wounds. Meanwhile, Upper Ottawa Valley OPP are investigating a double homicide, after being called to home on Mackay Street in Pembroke early Monday. A third person has life-threatening injuries.
