OPP: Don’t Promote Vacation Plans on Social Media

If you plan on going away for March Break, you’re being urged not to promote it online.

That’s the message from Killaloe OPP Constable Catherine Yarmel, who says it’s better to be proactive than reactive with crime.

Yarmel says that makes would-be thieves aware the home is unoccupied.

March Break starts on Monday for schools in Renfrew County.
