A bigger and better Relay for Life is coming to Pembroke, and it all starts tonight.
That’s because there’s a registration event being held tonight at the location of the new Relay for Life, the Pembroke Memorial Centre. The new relay is amalgamating the former Petawawa Relay and the Beachburg Relay and relocating to Pembroke.
The new location provides a roof in case of bad weather, as well as an elevated track for a Relay for Life village. The Relay for Life in Pembroke on June 22nd. Since 1999, the Relay for Life has raised over $500 million for the Canadian Cancer Society.
