The Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers is hopeful it can still get snowmobile trails open in March.
President Stuart McDonald says anything can happen in March, so the club is not ready to call it the end of the sledding season yet.
McDonald says the club just needs a little help from Mother Nature to reopen its trails.

However, all of the club’s trails are closed at this time due to the recent rainy and mild weather.
Because of that, McDonald wants all riders to stay off them for their own safety.
Snowmobile trails across the region are currently closed.
