Police Reminding Drivers to Stay in Control; Respond to 14 Collisions Monday

Police are reminding residents to be extra careful while driving in the snow this winter.

According to Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, the detachment responded to 14 motor vehicle collisions on Monday alone during snowy weather conditions.

Police say that there were no serious injuries reported in any of the collisions, and that the majority of them happened Monday morning and afternoon. Police are reminding residents to properly brush their cars off before driving in the snow, and to make sure they’re always in control while driving even when the weather conditions are poor.
