Ahead of Christmas, the Madawaska Valley Township is reminding residents that their services will be closed on Christmas.
All three waste transfer sites will be closed on both Christmas and Boxing Day next week. The Bark Lake and Combermere waste sites will be reopened on the 27th, while the Wilno location will be reopened on the 30th.
As for the Township Offices and Madawaska Valley Fitness Centre, they’ll be closed from Christmas until New Year’s Day and will reopen on January 8th.

There will be $2 public skating at the Paul J. Yakabuski Community Centre from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Boxing Day.
