Tuesday’s mild weather may have been a blessing in disguise for snowmobile riders in the area.
That’s according to the President of the Opeongo Snowbirds Snowmobile Club Cheryl Reid, who says this will actually help trail groomers.
Reid also says the snow isn’t packed down enough yet, and as a result the trails aren’t safe.

Reid also says while there aren’t any lakes on their trails, the swamp between Combermere and Barry’s Bay that snowmobilers go over also isn’t safe to use yet.
