The Township of Horton has decided to restructure its recreation department.
According to a township committee report, as of January 1st 2018 the position of Recreation Program Manager will redundant.
Horton Township CAO Sue Klatt says that restructuring is never an easy decision, especially when it impacts personnel.

The report also mentions that committee never doubted the passion, dedication or work ethic of Kathleen Rogers, the now former Recreation Program Manager for the township.
All recreation duties will be redistributed by the township on an interim basis.
