Curbside Ash Pickup To Begin in Madawaska Valley in November

The Madawaska Valley Township has released their curbside ash pickup schedule for this coming winter.

The township will be picking up fire ashes once a month between November and April, with the first pickup scheduled for November 23^rd.

Residents are being asked to make sure they have their ashes on the curb by 6:00am the morning of pickup and to make sure they are in a metal container and full extinguished.

The township is also asking residents not to place ashes with normal waste and to make sure that they’re a safe distance from combustibles.

Ash pickup days for this winter are:
Thursday, November 23^rd,
Thursday, December 21^st,
Thursday, January 18^th,
Thursday, February 15^th,
Thursday, March 15^th,
Thursday, April 26^th.
