The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP have named a new Detachment Commander.
Inspector Stephan Neufield took the position last Monday and will share his time between both the Pembroke and Petawawa detachments.
Nuefield is a 23-year veteran of the OPP having served at six detachments over the course of his career. Most recently, Nuefield also served as Detachment Commander for the Ottawa OPP detachment.

This comes after former commander Mark Wolfe retired in October after nearly three years in the position and 30 years of service to the OPP.
