Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Release Operation Impact Results

Upper Ottawa Valley OPP have released the results from a pair of campaigns they’ve just wrapped up.

The Fall Seatbelt Campaign that ran from September 27^th to October 6^th had a focused patrol for seatbelt violations. As a result, 67 motorists were charged with seatbelt offences during the campaign.

Over the Thanksgiving Long Weekend, Upper Ottawa Valley OPP also took part in a nationwide Operation Impact Campaign. Police laid 84 speeding charges, 18 moving violations, two distracted driving charges and two impaired driving charges.
