Bishop Smith Catholic High School in Pembroke remains closed today and will be until Tuesday following a fire Sunday night.
The fire was in a storage room at the school, and while the damage was contained to the Grade 8 wing of the school, the school board is ensuring air quality samples are taken before anybody can return to the school.
20 firefighters were called to the scene on Sunday night and the cause of the fire is still under an investigation. Students are scheduled to be back to class on Tuesday, following a PA and the Thanksgiving Long Weekend.
