Renfrew County Warden Jennifer Murphy has said she will seek a second term in the position.
Murphy, who is also the Mayor of Bonnechere Valley, stated her intentions to the County council at a meeting on Wednesday.
The position has one-year terms and is voted on by the county’s 17 municipality representatives, but current Warden Murphy says she would like to see terms extended to two years.

Nominations for the position of County Warden close on November 14th, and the position will be voted on in December.
