The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is reminding residents to leave wildlife alone if you come by them.
This comes after a bull moose was seen walking around a residential area of Petawawa last week. Police along with the Ministry of Natural Resources made efforts to get the moose out of the area.
According to OPP, those efforts were hindered by members of the public who had gathered around the moose to take pictures and videos of it while police tried to get it to leave.

Police say this can cause stress to the animals, and can cause traffic hazards when people full over to take pictures.
