The Town of Renfrew will be doing routine flushing of hydrants next week.
The flushing will be Monday through Thursday, from 8:00pm until 6:00am.
The town is reminding residents to refrain from running their washing machines or dishwashers during these hours. Residents may notice a brownish sediment in their water, and can clear this problem by running cold water.

The hydrant flushing will be to discharge water and test the water pressure to ensure that they are all working properly. It will also clean the water mains.
