Video surveillance identifies suspects in break-in and theft in Highlands East

A break-in and theft at a home in Highlands East has landed two people with charges.

Bancroft OPP says it received a complaint of a man and woman breaking into the home early on the afternoon of July 1^st. The two suspects stole alcohol, two chainsaws, a TV, and an ATV, but were eventually caught after being identified using video surveillance footage.

A 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman each faces charges including two counts of break and enter at a home, and theft under $5,000.
