The Madawaska Valley Lion’s Club is sponsoring the December blood donor clinic in Barry’s Bay this month.
Canadian Blood Services alternates between Barry’s Bay and Eganville every month in an effort to meet donation targets.
Blood donations go into treating auto-immune diseases, emergency transfusions in E-Rs and is a critical component in some cancer treatments.

You can donate once every two-months, with all blood types in demand for hospital emergency rooms.
Canadian Blood Services will be at the Paul J Yakabuski Community Centre on December 27th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, you can schedule your appointment here.
