Head, Clara and Maria Mayor Jim Gibson may be putting his in to run for ROMA’s board of directors.
The decision comes as mayors from across the region met at the Rural Mayors Forum of Eastern Ontario in the Madawaska Valley last week.
Gibson says he’ll wait until other mayors from the region have had their say before putting his name in to represent Zone 6 on the board.

The deadline for a municipal leader to put their name forth is December 23rd.
Friday’s meeting consisted of leaders from Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan, Hastings Highlands, Mississippi Mills, North Frontenac, Greater Madawaska; Head, Clara and Maria and the Madawaska Valley.
