Lion’s Club organizers for the 51st annual Santa Claus Parade say this year’s event was one of the biggest, if not the biggest the Madawaska Valley has ever seen.
Nearly 30 businesses, schools, groups and organizations entered the parade which closed off Opeongo Line for most of Saturday.
One of the event’s organizers Tom Smith says all of the partnerships between the township, police and fire are crucial to the parade’s success.
