Municipal leaders are all under one roof in the Madawaska Valley today for the Rural Mayor’s Forum of Eastern Ontario.
Addresses from Mayor Kim Love and Recreation and Community Development Coordinator Paul Nopper will begin the day.
Mayors and staff will be taking a tour of the Barry’s Bay Railway Station before discussion opens.

Topics include a draft resolution to support the end of age discrimination in post-stroke treatment for Ontario and changes to the provincial tenancy act.
The forum begins today at 9:30am and runs until 2:30pm at the Opeongo Seniors in Barry’s Bay.
