Township of Madawaska Valley Clerk and CAO Craig Kelley has announced his resignation.
Kelley has accepted a position with Renfrew County as Director of Development and Property, which he’ll be moving into in the New Year.
Kelley says township staff and council are a dynamic team.

He says the many refinements and advancements in policy the Madawaska Valley has implemented is thanks to a great staff.
Madawaska Valley’s Mayor Kim Love says while it’s regrettable Kelley will be leaving the township, he will bring a critical understanding to the county of the challenges small, rural municipalities face.
