Tomorrow’s Recreation, Heritage and Culture Committee meeting convenes tomorrow in the Madawaska Valley with information on how to make nominees for the 2017 Premier’s Awards.
The award recognizes artists and art groups or organizations in Ontario.
The committee is expected to approve the requests for the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation in regards to the Tree of Lights Ceremony next month.
It will also be taking a look at progress of the township’s renovated fitness centre.
The progress report shows over 100 monthly memberships purchased and nearly 100 participants in its volleyball program.
The committee will also be discussing the railway station’s progress, attendance and upcoming winter programming schedule.
The public is both welcomed and encouraged to attend committee meetings.
