Residents of the Madawaska Valley have until the end of the month to apply as a volunteer to the township’s Lipusz Twinning Committee.
The mandate of the committee is to continue to foster the historical and cultural exchange with the community located in Poland, which shares heritage with the region.
The township says it’s seeking volunteers for the committee, headed by Councillor Ernie Peplinski who believe they may have an impact.
