Conservative candidate Cheryl Gallant has been re-elected in the riding of Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke.
With 230 of 235 polls counted, she has just over 45 percent of the vote and more than 6,500 votes more than Liberal Jeff Lehoux who came in second place. Â These are unofficial results.
At the national level, the Liberals have formed a majority government, with the Conservatives sitting as the opposition.
