The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board now has a new Superintendent of Education – School Climate & Well-Being Services.
The Board has announced Laina Andrews will be taking up the role starting October 3rd.
Before this, Andrews was a high school principal with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.

The board says Andrews has a depth of experience in designing, implementing and monitoring successful teaching and learning environments.
She is known for creating collaborative teams who achieve school and organizational goals.
