Madawaska Valley’s annual Artisan Festival returns this weekend

The Train Station Museum in Barry’s Bay is the venue for the Madawaska Valley’s 39th annual Artisan Festival on Saturday.

More than three dozen vendors and makers are scheduled to attend a free event that welcomes all ages.

Event organizer Lindsay Libby said guests can expect a wide variety of artisans from food and pottery, to canvasses and prints, wood and blacksmith products.

“It’s quite a variety. I am really excited for the community to come because everyone will surely find something.”

Confirmed attendees include Amberwing Art Studio, Donna’s Recycled Metal Art, Griffith Farm and Market and Purely Rakish Candles, amongst others.

Libby said they expect a good crowd and one of the summer’s big events and it could be the biggest market taking place in the Madawaska Valley this summer.

The event runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
