The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is investigating an overnight incident in Quadeville, in which they say a child suffered serious injuries.
The child remains in hospital, and OPP say they are working with medical officials as part of the investigation.
OPP ask that residents in the Quadeville area keep children indoors or under close supervision until the source of the victim’s injuries can be determined.

The OPP say that although ‘this appears to be an isolated incident’, investigators are still working to determine the cause of the child’s injuries.
