Metaphysical practitioners, artists, psychics and more will be gathering near Bancroft this weekend for the Spring Equinox Psychic and Artisan fair.
The event is taking place tomorrow at the Faraday community Centre.
This will be the second spring equinox fair of its kind in the region and the first in Bancroft.
Organizer Tina Zhaab Waabi Kwe, an Indigenous psychic medium and healer, Michi Saagiig Anishnaabe Kwe of Hiawatha First Nation, has facilitated similar events in the past year.
She says the community response has been incredible and keeps growing.
“I’ve had so many people in the area come up and thank me for facilitating these, saying they’ve always wanted something like this up in this area.”
Zhaab Waabi Kwe says that along with metaphysical artisans there will be designers as well.
“I have a copper designer. I have an artist that paints faeries and other metaphysical art. [There will be] holistic health practitioners, quantum healing, hypnosis, traditional healers and remedies. And about 7 psychics. I have local crystal and gemstone artisans as well.”
The event will also offer certified food vendors.
The Spring Equinox Psychic and Artisan Fair takes place Saturday March 22 at the Faraday Community Centre at 29860 Highway 28 in Bancroft from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
