Member of the Eastern Ontario’s Warden Caucus, including Renfrew County’s representation, are letting the province know about problems being faced by rural communities.
During the Association of Municipalities of Ontario’s annual conference in Windsor, the caucus presented the information to the province.
One of the issues address includes the urgent need to improve hydroelectricity transmission grids to serve the growing needs of businesses in Eastern Ontario.

Hastings County Warden Rick Phillips says issues that create financial burdens on municipal budgets were also addressed.
