OPP in Pakenham, south of Renfrew, say there is an increased police presence in the area.
This comes after two residents reported hearing calls for help coming from the forest around 7:30 a.m.
Officers, the OPP Canine Unit and OPP drones are currently searching the area.
There have been no additional reports since officers arrived.

Hunters and others are being asked to avoid this area.
