Robb Hunter says he bought his Catch the Ace tickets ‘at the last minute’ from The Cottage Cup in Round Lake and ended up getting a ticket for each of the remaining envelopes on the board.
The winner was envelope number 33, which revealed the Jack of Hearts.
Although he didn’t capture the ace of spades, Hunter won the weekly prize of $9,006.

He plans on using his winnings to “pay off a bill, purchase a few more Catch the Ace tickets and put the rest away for his dream jet ski.”
The estimated prize for week 47 is $10,000, while anyone who found the Ace of Spades, would walk away with an estimated $213,000.
The weekly progressive draw raises money to support the St Francis Memorial Hospital in Barry’s Bay.
