According to the township of Madawaska Valley, due to ‘on-going water main maintenance, consumers may experience temporarily discoloured water in Barry’s Bay.’
It is recommended that the residents flush COLD water for a few minutes to clear any discoloured water from the plumbing.
This comes after a water main break on Bay Street in Barry’s Bay at around noon on Sunday.
Repairs were completed and the road was re-opened as of Sunday evening.
