Rainfall warning in effect for Barry’s Bay, Killaloe and area

A rainfall warning is in effect for our area according to Environment Canada.

Heavy rain is expected to continue through the day and taper off from west to east later this afternoon.

They say total rainfall amounts could be 50 to 75 mm, with locally higher amounts still possible.

A low pressure system interacting with the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby is allowing for heavy rainfall for in much of eastern Ontario today.
