One Tree Open Mic is taking place in Barrys Bay this Saturday for just the second time. The event is in partnership with Dance Oasis and Madawaska Coffee.
The partnership aims to raise money for local groups, this time funds raised will go towards the Killaloe Community Resource Centre (CRC) which provides community-based supports and services.
The open mic will take place on Saturday at Madawaska Coffee’s courtyard patio in Barrys Bay. Doors open at 6 p.m. and it will run until 9 p.m.
The first One-Tree Open Mic last month raised over $800 for the Madawaska Valley Foodbank with proceeds from tickets sales, raffle ticket sales and an art silent auction.
